Great magazine!

I have been subscribing to People magazine for a long time now. I tried to go without but ended up buying it at the store for full price so I started the subscription again. I LOVE this magazine! The reason I had quit subscribing to it is cause of cost, not the magazine. If you do subscribe to People it does get costly but worth every penny to me. There are so many topics covered in this magazine.
First of all I get my fix on what is going in Hollywood and the world. I think it covers personalities in a positive light rather than the trashy way some magazines can go.
Their book reviews are real good too. There have many times I have read a review and then gone out and bought the book. Books that I would have known nothing about except what I read in People.
The movie reviews I don't always agree with but I also know my taste in movies isn't the same as most peoples.
You also get a good view of the world from this magazine. It covers anything from peoples misfortunes to their streaks of luck. It usually really reminds you of the good still in this world. One of my favorite stories it just covered was about a lady in LA who has taken on the task of burying "discarded babies", or children that other wise would have to buried with the John and Jane Doe's of this world. It really was a great story and like all of Peoples articles very well written.
I look forward to Fridays when I know People will be in my mail box. I curl up on the couch and the rest of the world is shut out for a few hours. My only complaint; I wish it was longer. It seems like I am done reading it to early.
