Poor Choice

Two years ago I decided to buy a digital camera to stay up-to-date on technology. I did a bit of research via Consumer Reports looking for recommendations and features to look for in a camera. At the time, they were very happy with many different Pentax digital cameras.

Not wanting to pay too much for something I wasn't to knowledge about at the time, I decided to goto the local Walmart and take a look around. I ran into this, Pentax Optio 60 for about two hundred bucks. Referring back to my reading at the time, 6mp camera for that price is a really decent deal. I went ahead and purchased the camera, and took it home.

The Good:
The software was alright, the outdoors shots weren't even that bad.

The bad:
Battery life, straight up sucks. I first attempted using normal AA batteries until I went though eight in one night. Then I upgraded to some rechargeable batteries. Sure they worked slightly longer... but if you want to have your camera on for over 20 mins, don't buy this. Your shots are blurry, and the shutter is plain slow.

All in all, I am upset I spent the little two hundred dollars on this, and not saved fifty more for a camera more satisfying.
