Better than most 4-5 mega-pixel cameras

I purchased this camera on sale, in fact it was the display model, but it still came with the same warranty, so i decided to give it a try.

I will say that this was my first digital camera purchase, although I have used many friends and family digital cameras before.
Upon opening the package you will find the camera, a wrist strap, software, and batteries.

Looking through the manual, i was slightly confused, only because there are many features, and it's hard to remember all of them.

Ease of use:
I take a lot of pictures, of my daughter, of the places my girlfriend and I go, and anything else I find interesting. I also convert many of my pictures into black and white.
This camera is very easy to use, being equipped with a full auto mode: just point and shoot. There are however many user adjustable settings, if you feel like really taking control. You can adjust things such as: shutter speed, light sensitivity, image quality and more.
There are also several shooting modes such as, portrait, landscape, macro...and more

Picture Quality:
I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of pictures that this camera is able to take. The pictures come out crystal clear, and look much better than pics from a 35mm camera. My only complaint about the picture quality is the pictures tend to look slightly dark, but this can easily be fixed by adjusting the light sensitivity.
