Pentax smc DA 40mm f/2.8 Lens

I planned to purchase a work-around prime lens with light weight. And I narrowed down my choice into two pentax lens: FA35/2.0 and DA40/2.8. FA35 has larger aperture but DA40 is much lighter. I finally end up with DA40 as DA lens works much better than FA(full frame) lens in DSLR.

DA40's image quality is quite good even in F2.8. The focus is fast and sharp by comparing my kit lens and my friend's FA35. All in all, it's a great lens if you want to pursue light prime lens not at the expense of image quailty.
