GREAT STROLLER OVERALL--BUT PRICEY!
Pros:
Lightweight, compact, stylish, easy-to-use, can be a travel system.
Cons:
Expensive, useless sunshade/cupholder, can feel "cheap" since lots of plastic used in the construction.
The Bottom Line:
As with everything else, there are drawbacks...however, after carefully weighing the pros and cons, this stroller was the perfect choice for us!

Author's Review
Our quest to find the "perfect" stroller started soon after our experience with a "typical" travel system. When we were expecting our daughter, a friend gave us their used stroller/infant carrier combo (a.k.a. a "travel system"). Functionally, it was fine (easy to open/close, comfortable ride, good maneuverability, infant carrier snapped-in/out with ease)...however, as with most travel systems, the thing was HUGE and HEAVY! And so the search began...
We heard about lightweight "umbrella" strollers from other parents. These strollers are typically smaller, lighter and more basic than the average stroller. We were quite overwhelmed by the number of brands/choices out there...so we began by reading online reviews and specifying certain criteria. For us, the criteria was simple: we wanted a good quality stroller that was lightweight and easy-to-use. After doing TONS of research, we decided on the "Peg-Perego Aria."
At 10 pounds, the Aria is Peg-Perego's lightest stroller. It is also their most basic stroller. We didn't mind this so much, as we would gladly trade in a bigger, heavier stroller with all the bells and whistles for a smaller, lighter one with less features.
Peg-Perego Aria features:
-Light and compact
-Folds easily and stands alone when folded
-Five-point harness and multi-position backrest
-Open/close/removable child tray
-4 Double wheels with suspension
-Swiveling or locked front wheels
-Independent brakes on rear wheels
-Storage basket and adult cup holder
-Sunshade with window
-Retractable car seat anchors to attach matching infant carrier
-Removable/washable upholstery
-Carry handle
*Note: Despite what you may read online, this stroller IS NOT made in Italy. It was designed in Italy but the label on the stroller clearly states that it is made in China.*
We have been using the "Aria" for about 4 months now and we absolutely love it. As with everything else, there are drawbacks...however, after carefully weighing the pros and cons, this stroller was the perfect choice for us! It is very transportable, opens and folds easily, has a comfortable ride, steers and maneuvers with only one hand...and it can work as a travel system! If you don't mind the $149.99-199.99 price tag (price varies depending on year, fabric), give this stroller a try!
