Excellent Remake

I never saw the 1961 Parent Trap starring Hayley Mills, but this was a great movie so I'll say it was an awesome remake nevertheless.

As we know, it is about 2 twin sisters(they don't know this at first) who get sent to the same girls camp, a camp called Camp Walden. At first they couldn't stand each other until they figured out that they were twin sisters. So they came up with the idea of switching places and to try to get their mom and dad back together. One major obstacle, Meredith Blake is in their way.

Now to talk about the acting. The acting was great and the right person to start with would definetely be Lindsay Lohan, who played the twin sisters Hallie Parker from California and Annie James from London. She did a great job with Annie's accent along with the other ways they were different.

Now the rest of the cast. Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson did a solid job as the girls' parents. Their chemistry between them was pretty good in my opinion. Lisa Ann Walter, Hallie's nanny and Annie's butler Martin would fall in love and they would have great chemistry adding a little bit of comedy to it. I don't remember who played Meredith Blake, but she would do a nice job being a mean, nasty "Cruella De Vil"(as the girls would call her) type person.

I liked how this movie would not only be funny, but be quite touching at the same time. It would be very touching to me when the girls would meet and hug for the first time and when the girls would meet and hug the parent they haven't met for the first time. The funniest parts were definetely at the camp when the girls would play tricks on each other and when Hallie would cut Annie's hair and also pierce her ears. The other very funny part was on the camping trip when the girls would put lizards on Meredith's head and then put her out in the lake!

This was a great family film that should be watched at least once.
