Pros: great picture quality, multiple settings, easy to use
Cons: no viewfinder
The Bottom Line: Fantastic camera especially for the amount of money paid, I am always thrilled at the results I get with this camera, I would recommend it to everyone, and I do!!!

Review: I've had this camera for almost 2 years and absolutely LOVE it! I love to go to concerts and although this camera has a 10X zoom - it has digital zoom of 4X so I can actually take pictures at 40X zoom, they aren't perfectly clear but when I develop...

Pros: High quality sharp pics, great image Stablization, no noise up to ISO 200
Cons: Flash is a bit week unless in auto mode.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Very well made camera, metal body finely finished, specially the black model. No other Point and Shoot camera offers a 10X optical zoom with a Leica lens, the best Image Stablization in the business that gives super sharp images and low noise levels...

Pros: Excellent 10X Leica zoom with image stabilizer with lots of features in a smaller camera.
Cons: No viewfinder (but good LCD) and plastic body.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this camera for it's crystal clear 10X zoom Leica lens w/ image stabilizer. It's loaded with easy to use features and all in a smaller sized camera.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I love this camera. The 10X zoom Leica lens combined with the image stabilizer gives incredibly sharp ,clear, and detailed photographs. You can count hairs on a photo. The big zoom allows you to get real close up from a distance. And when set on...

Review: I've had this camera for a year now and I love it! I researched cameras online and looked at many in the stores before making my decision.
The determining factor was the image stabilizer. I needed that! The 10x optical zoom is great. It's... |

Pros: 10X Zoom, Optical Image Stabilization, Leica Optics, Small.
Cons: No manual aperture or shutter controls. No optical viewfinder. Takes time to learn features.
The Bottom Line: This is the camera you should take with you for travel. It has 10X zoom and is small and lightweight enough to carry all day.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I bought my DMC-TZ1 from a local Circuit City for $316 after much research online. I installed a 2GB 133X SD card. It is necessary to get a fast card for video capture, so I got the 133X. At the highest resolution, a 2GB SD gives about 1500 photo...

Pros: Lightweight, easy to carry, great zoom.
Cons: No view finder, hard to see in direct sunlight.
The Bottom Line: Like my camera, and think it was a good purchase for the price
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I like the looks of this camera. It is small enough to fit in any bag or even your pocket. It is slim but has enough feel to it that you can hold on to it. It is silver and shiny, what woman doesn't like that. And I think the Panasonic TZ1 does a...

Pros: Image Stabilization, Nice Zoom, Continuous Burst Mode, Easy-to-use Scene Modes, one-handed use
Cons: No rotating LCD screen or lens
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 is a great camera. I needed a new digital camera to replace my old (really old) Nikon 5700. This was one of the only compact mega-zoom cameras (The Nikon S4 was another), and it wasn't too expensive like the Kodak V610,...

Pros: Zoom, zoom, and more zoom. Can even zoom during movie recording.
Cons: Have to frequently adjust color settings to get best results. No wide adapters available.
The Bottom Line: Pocketable 10x stabilized lens!!! Very useful for distant subjects (e.g. at zoo). Default color balance too cool/blue for my tastes; though adjustable, the setting is buried deep in menu.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: 10x stabilized zoom. Fits into shirt pocket.
If you want these features, your only choices are to buy this camera, or its successor the TZ3, which also has a 10x zoom, but starts with a wider field of view - 28mm versus 35mm. (The TZ3... |

Cons: Too little built-in memory, weak flash.

Review: At $199, Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 is one of the cheapest 10x optical zoom digital cameras. It is a great little camera for leisure use and excellent value for money.
The camera is not very heavy, but feels sturdy. The lens does not have a... |

Review:
My first recent digital camera (I have a Kodak DC120, but that doesn't count...was never my primary camera and didn't buy it new) was the Kodak DX6490. I was usually happy with that camera. It had 4 MP, a 10x zoom, and a baby SLR form factor. I... |
