Author's Review
im the pround owner of fz10, fz15, fz20, fz7 and now fz30, that should explain my love for the fz series.
i finally bought my fz30 thru RITZ camera.used for 398$ in excel condi, a very good deal i think..
fz30 at 1st glance, very nice size, good grip, well build, solid, and most of all the images quality..very sharp indeed..images as good or better than fz15 and fz20. a must notice is the manual zoom ring for fast zooming.the flip out lcd helps on lower shots. of course if you look for noise in pics you can see it, mostly in 3/4 tone shadow end..but not that bad, usable..know how to use it, you can get great images. fz30 got exposure lock, very nicefeature.
i like to use f8 or higher if i could i would..fz30 gain 3 f stops. up to f11, fz20 only has max at f8. i also use small metering for more details capture. fz are great for landscape, i also have a step down adapter ring from 55mm to 52mm to use with my raynox wide and tele, now i can shoot from 26mm to 646mm.at f2.8-f3.7.leica lens with image stabilizer.in all its the best bang for the buxs..its the sure shot cam to have all day..very easy to use.
take the majority positive reviews over a few neg reviews..always some one who has bad luck or dont know how to shoot camera, or simply like to complain or expecting a miracle..
