Cool Little Camera

Takes great pictures! The image stabilization works great. I also like the Auto Bracket feature which takes several pictures at once (like burst mode) but each one differs in exposure. This allows you to choose later which exposure you like best. Very smart. Digital zoom actually produces a sharp picture. I was amazed at the clarity!

Nice, big screen. No tiny viewfinder to squint through, but you don't need one. It can brighten the screen at the touch of a button if needed. Compact, and comes in black.

I exchanged a more expensive 7.1MP Cannon SD550 for this one because the pictures were so blurry. I don't regret it. Indoor pictures with no flash are much more sharp on the FX8. Even with flash there were not very many red-eye photos to fix. The few with red-eye were a dark enough red to almost ignore.
