Love This System !
Pros:
Great value; Excellent tech support from Panasonic; lots of features; full-featured remote
Cons:
Possible interference on wireless reception (true on any system); MUST upgrade cabling; need more HDMI
The Bottom Line:
I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless system that has to stay within a budget. Just keep in mind the cost of the cabling upgrade.

Live in a loft, so running wires across the room was impossible and necessitated the wireless feature. Did lots of research and selected the Panasonic to complement my Panasonic 50" Plasma. HDMI cabling made set-up a snap to integrate remote usage form both TV and home theater.
Research told me to immediately switch out the speaker "cable" (really cheap wire), to 16 gauge cable and the sound difference is night and day! The ability to adjust the volume and delay the sound in each speaker, the subwoofer level, etc., has allowed me to get it just so. Before I used to have to rely on wireless headphones when watching TV to hear dialogue because it got lost in my high-ceilinged, tremendous living room. Now, no problem discerning speech. And when friends come to watch movies they're just thrilled! For the $, I've been exceptionally pleased.
And speaking of $, I purchased mine at Costco around August. Their package includes the wireless receiver (SH-FX60). And as double luck had it, I got there just as they began to sell them ($399), but they were offering them at $100 off, so I paid $299!
Unlike a previous reviewer, I have NEVER experienced spontaneous shut-down. But if I did, having purchased it at Costco, I know that they stand behind anything they sell, so I could just take it back for replacement or refund anytime. But I never heard of this happening before I bought mine or I wouldn't have made the purchase.
On the downside, it's not the greatest general music player I've ever owned. It's not like I'm in a music club; but then again, I've never really cranked it up, so who knows. For me, however, I'd give it a 7. Which of course could also be the loft factor.
Also, I've had to call Panasonic a few times to ask how to do some things because I had trouble interpreting the manual. However, they were patient and stayed on the phone as long as I needed.
I believe there may be one or two better quality wireless HTIB systems, but definitely NOT at this price (especially if you get it at Costco).
