Pros: Price is great, wireless surround speakers, lots of nice features.
Cons: Lack of a digital audio input limits when you can use 5.1 surround sound.
The Bottom Line: Based on price and features alone (especially wireless surround sound speakers), I would recommend this system.

Review:
I was in the market for a home theater system to hook up to my Mitsubishi 62" DLP Television, but I did not want to have a bunch of wires running across the room to the surround speakers. While at COSTCO one day I saw the Panasonic... |

Pros: None I'm aware of
Cons: Faulty equipment results in repeated loss of power

Review: Do not buy this product if you expect a trouble-free experience. According to the research I've done via the 'Net, Panasonic products such as this have a manufacturer flaw that results in the product shutting down during operation. An error f61...

Pros: Great value; Excellent tech support from Panasonic; lots of features; full-featured remote
Cons: Possible interference on wireless reception (true on any system); MUST upgrade cabling; need more HDMI
The Bottom Line: I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless system that has to stay within a budget. Just keep in mind the cost of the cabling upgrade.

Review: Live in a loft, so running wires across the room was impossible and necessitated the wireless feature. Did lots of research and selected the Panasonic to complement my Panasonic 50" Plasma. HDMI cabling made set-up a snap to integrate remote usage...

Pros: The sound is terrific for a system under $400.
Cons: the manual :-)

Review: Had it just two weeks and it was a little confusing getting all the settings correct. Like I need to have the TV volume turned up high even though I have the TV speakers off. Had to change the delay on surround speakers because of the placement of...

Pros: Good Sound - Reasonable Price
Cons: Instruction Manual not too helpful. Don't be shocked by the huge box it comes in.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: System does sound good but the instruction manual is pretty poor. I also use Time-Warner Digital Cable and I have yet to find a way to change channels and volume with one remote.

Pros: Great sound for the price.
Cons: Lack of digital input makes this one not to recommend. Wish I hadn't bought it.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Very solid good sounding HTIB. Big flaw that I didn't think about at the time was the lack of digital audio inputs. I have an HD Plasma and some HD channels broadcast in 5.1 sound, but because the HT940 only has analog L/R inputs I can't use the...
