Panasonic NN-SD797S Stainless Steel 1250 Watts Microwave Oven

Although I've had good luck with Panasonic products (except their wireless telephones), I didn't think I would want a M/W with a dial...seemed old-fashioned. Well it turns out that it speeds up the amount of time it takes to set variables, such as, cooking time and weights. It actually is an ingenious improvement over buttons. This M/W is the best I've owned. The inverter technology seems to actually work. The concept is that most M/W address power settings by turning on, then off, during the cycle (if you listen closely, you can hear the thing cycling on and off). This M/W adjusts the wattage (I think) with the power setting you choose, so there is no on-off-on-etc. cycling. I have had this M/W for about 2 years without one problem.
