This phone system is identical to KX-TG1034. The only difference is that this ones come pre-packaged with 3 handsets (vs. 4 in the KX-TG1034).

The quality of workmanship and design of this product is evident in every aspect of it: Even the AAA NiMh batteries and the way they fit into their compartment is impressive.

The rich set of features also makes this phone system a great choice. In addition to being able to sync the phonebook from any handset to any of the other handset, each handset can retrieve messages from the digital answering machine and each handset can act as a speakerphone. Also, the system functions as an intercom system (very convenient in a 3-floor house). The coolest feature of all is that each such phone also functions as an alarm clock.

That said, the most important feature of all is the AMAZING sound quality.

One disappointing problem with this phone that I discovered only 74 days after purchasing the system: The base units "decides" for some strange reason "to go on a strike" and stop responding. This problem is documented on Panasonic's web site and is solve-able by simply disconnecting power from the base unit and re-connecting it. This works, but somewhat lowers the confidence in the "perfectness" of this product.

Another minor con is that it doesn't let you delete entries from the caller ID history. This is very minor and could actually be regarded as a feature, not a missing one.
