Joip's "Customer Service"

My experience with Joip started off just fine until I needed customer service. I signed up for a monthly plan and it worked well for 3 months. Good call quality, easy to use, cheap, everything I expected. When Joip tried to bill me credit card on the 4th month the credit card company declined the transaction and Joip sent me an email advising me of that. I sorted it out with the credit card company and emailed Joip's "Customer Service" explaining that they could now charge the credit card again. They didn't respond to that or three other emails, they just removed my phone number and from the service. So I called them..... many times. Never spoke to anyone, left messages. If you wait long enough on hold on their "customer service" lines the system just hangs up. If you don't call from a Joip phone the number responds out of service. So I called Panasonic, after all they must have a vested interest in the service because they sold me the phone, right? Not very helpful either, they were surprised to here that the "customer service" numbers didn't work and promised to get back to me. We'll see. This is starting to remind me of the Sunrocket scandal, I won't be surprised if the company just up and dies and I'm left with a device that's not usable on any other network.
