Solid Blue Ray player with good backwards compatibility.

The Bottom Line: I recommend the BD-55 if you need the backwards compatibility of the connections it offers. If you don't the BD-35 has the same quality at a lower price.

Perfect for my non-HDMI Hometheater

The Bottom Line: If you have a non HDMI home Receiver this is perfect, if you do I imagine this would still be perfect.
Review:       The Panasonic DMP-BD55K is the perfect companion to my receiver and although the 55K has HMDI connections, my receiver does not. So why the 55K?  A huge list of features including 7.1 channel analog cable connections, component video cable...
