Nice digital Camera under $200 Panasonic DMC-LZ7

Date of Review:  Nov 25, 2007
The Bottom Line: One of the best in this price range. Great buy that won?t disappoint. 7 megapixel, 6X zoom, 2.5 inch screen, decent movie clips, needs only needs 2- AA batteries.
Review: INTRO
I must admit having so many choices with this recent purchase it was an easier decision to make when comparing the
competitive cameras and having a knowledgeable sales person on hand to weed out the weaker ones in the price range I...

A fast shooting full featured pocket camera at a good price

Date of Review:  Jul 24, 2007
The Bottom Line: A fast shooting camera with quick cycle times. Night mode enables pictures in almost total darkness with almost NO noise! A very good all around camera.
Review: My wife and I take LOTS of pictures, occasionally providing images for local publications, so I knew what I wanted in a replacement for my lost Pentax Optio. Research of the latest pocket models around 200 bucks became a real chore, there are so...

Good camera

Date of Review:  May 14, 2007
The Bottom Line: Very good camera with good (but not great) low light capability and plenty of options to let you get a good picture.
Review: Cameras have become very complex. The software in these devices is very sophisticated, it tries to handle many things for the user. The downside is that it becomes increasingly hard to describe if a camera is good or not. A camera maybe good at some...

Good Feature set and lens ruined by noise issues

Date of Review:  Sep 18, 2007
The Bottom Line: If you want excellent quality @ the maximum resolution of 2304x3072 (7 megapixels) then it might be best to look elsewhere since the pictures are often grainy
Review: The Lumix LZ7 is relatively easy to use with a dial on top to select different modes and the user manual is straight forward, the 'normal picture mode' lets you set exposure compensation and can display a live histogram along with a grid to help...

Awesome camera for the price

Date of Review:  Jun 4, 2007
Review: I bought my Panasonic DMC LZ7 a week ago and I'm glad I did. I was originally going to buy a Canon, but after much research online I discovered this camera. I love the big LCD screen and the ease of use. This camera comes loaded with features that...

No Complaints!

Date of Review:  Mar 26, 2008
Review: I studied photography for a couple years before I decided to buy my own digital camera, and this little number was really good for what I paid. It's pretty simple which is nice for new users, and although it doesn't have some of the fancier settings...

Good while it lasted

Date of Review:  Nov 25, 2008
Review: I owned this camera for 13 months before it stopped working... one month longer than the warranty, unfortunately.  After a period of about 6 weeks that I hadn't used it I found it wouldn't turn on.  I went through several battery options and also...

Extremely Disappointed

Date of Review:  Oct 26, 2007
Review: I'm extremely disappointed in Panafax. Ok - it's my fault I didn't get a camera with a viewfinder. And I hate it. But I hate their solution on batteries. Either I try to find their Oxyride battery,,,,which I can't find easily...or at all, or I need...

Point-and-Shoot Digital that's worth the money.

Date of Review:  Oct 19, 2009
Review: No matter what they tell you, no digital camera is perfect. But the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ7 is pretty close for a point-and-shoot.
The main thing I look for in a camera is
1) a certain price range.
2) a long optical zoom. I don't...
