Great and easy to use

The Bottom Line: I recommend it for people looking for an easy to use camera, but not for someone who takes a lot of pictures with poor lighting.
I have been using this camera for 2 years. I love the compact size and the ease of use. It takes beautiful pictures outdoors, however when lighting is limited, the pictures can be pretty noisy. I also like the many different picture modes, especially when I take action shots of my kids. The pictures always turn out great and never blurry! The camera also has an easy mode for novice photographers, which is pretty much the equivalent of a "point and shoot" mode. You don't have to know anything about photography to use this and still end up with great pictures. The body is very solid and well made but I decided to protect it with a silicone cover and I don't even use a case. The battery lasts for a very long time, although I purchased an extra one so that I always have one fully charged. The one thing I did notice is that sometimes when using non-Panasonic memory cards, I would get an error message, so I purchased a 512 mb Panasonic card and haven't had a problem since. This is my main camera and I am overall quite happy with it and recommend it for someone looking for an easy to use product.
