Not quite perfect, but it's the best cordless I've owned!

The Bottom Line: I considered the trade-off's when deciding on this phone (ans. machine/low quality). It's perfect signal and the best design for how it fits your hand made it the best available.
Review: After reading all of the other reviews, it's hard to understand why this phone got such poor ratings. I can't be the only one out there who thinks highly of this phone. Maybe only the owners of defective units wrote in. Maybe signal quality varies...

Review: Great phone. I must admit, I was real skeptical of buying this phone after reading some of the reviews here. Check out pricegrabber.com for some more (much better) reviews, if you're interested in this phone. I did buy it and am really happy with it.

Works great for me; handset speakerphone is fabulous

Review: I'm a big fan of the 6500, it works much better for me than my previous Pano cordless. In particular, the speakerphone in the handset is so good that in a quiet office I'm always on it and my callers never notice.

Review: Don't buy this phone. Unless I bought a lemon (I am checking on this)the handsets do not receive signals even with a slight change of rooms. My old one KX-TG2000B 2.8 GHz works wonderfully well. Shame on Panasonic for marketing such a model.

Review: Five months after purchasing the caller ID no longer works, and 2 of the handsets aren't working - I can hear garbled conversations, great amounts of static. Took to repair centre (found on Panasonic's website) will take 1 week to diagnose problem...
