No frills - just an excellent, big screen for a good price!
Pros:
Good price, looks good on the desk, excellent display
Cons:
Stand has no height adjustment, no built-in speakers
The Bottom Line:
May be the best value in a 24" LCD today, if you don't want to pay for extras like built-in speakers or memory card readers.

Author's Review
If you want the largest LCD monitor possible for your computer without breaking the bank, you can't really go wrong with this Acer. It does a native resolution of 1920x1200, with a claimed contrast ratio of 1000:1. (As I understand it though, contrast ratios are often greatly inflated because there's not a single standard for measuring them.) Regardless, the bottom line is this: You'll get a picture from this display that you'll be pleased with. I already own a Dell 24" LCD display, and I'd say the quality of the Acer's display is about identical.
There are only 2 video presets, "warm" and "cool", plus a "user settings" option. The "cool" setting tends to give everything a blueish cast, which I didn't care for. "Warm" feel much more usable, but the best bet is tweaking the adjustments in "user" mode until you've got it just right.
The only down-side to this monitor is the lack of extras. The stand works well enough, but feels a little more flimsy than some. It only allows adjusting the tilt of the display up and down. There's no height adjustment, and to turn the monitor, you have to move the stand with it. The panel won't swivel on the base. It has no memory card reader, USB hub, or even built-in speakers.
They do, however, include a DVI video cable, which can save you some money. (Stores love overpricing items like video cables!)
A final item in the Acer's favor? Standard 3 year manufacturer warranty! (Others like Westinghouse only offer 1 year!)
