Best performance requires daily use. Long facial hair may require multiple passes.

I love this little razor and I would buy another one OR be comfortable presenting one as a gift for a friend or family member.

In the ancient past, I used a Remington Microscreen and loved it. When I could no longer get a replacement razor foil for my Remington, I retired it and began using a double bladed cartridge razor.
With the cartridge razor, I would shave while showering. This added an extra 5 minutes each day onto my shower time. To save water, energy and money, I decided to purchase the Panasonic ES4026NC Electric Shaver. It was very inexpensive (on NewEgg for $22 minus a $3 rebate) and looked like a good buy. Now I shave with the Pro-Curve BEFORE showering. If the Pro-Curve misses anything, I easily get it with the cartridge razor in the shower, usually in less than 5 seconds.
The Pro-Curve rubber body grips make it easy to hold and maneuver across the face. The razor head is angled to make it easier to shave under the chin or get those stubborn hairs growing in a different direction. The razor foil is detachable, exposing the cutter heads and both are easy to clean. The Pro-Curve also sports a flip out side burn trimmer that works great for trimming hair around the ears as well as the nose. In the year I've been using the Pro-Curve, I've never experienced any razor burn or discomfort.
I estimate I'll recoup the cost of the razor in one year of natural gas and water savings. After that, the money I save will go toward the purchase of another Panasonic Pro-Curve.
