seemed great....at first
Pros:
fabulous sound, easy to set up, lots of inputs
Cons:
flickering and "paling" images, especially noteable if the picture adjustment is set lower, not recommended
The Bottom Line:
Sounds great, but the picture, is really below par, I read shining reviews of this tv, but would certainly recommend you shop around and look first

Author's Review
Having had a JVC tv for a number of years, it decided enough was enough and went kaput, so having looked around, we went to sears to see what TVs they had. Originally we were gonig to get the JVC flat screen, but settled on the panasonic as we got a rebate because the manual was missing (we later actually found it in the box!) Having set the tv up, incidently really easy to set up, turned it on and looked sharp and crisp. Having watched for a while, I noticed a faint pale appearance appear on the screen evertime either a lot of white of light colors were used on black, or when the constrast was a more pale or natural appearance. I brushed it aside for a while thinking it must be because the tv was better than the one we had, thus "eggagerating" the bad images. But having plugged our dvd player and direct tv reciever into our cheapo 13 inch apex tv, I saw a none flickering picture, plugging it back into the panasonic, I again, saw the pale type flickering appear on the screen. As if a sheet of cloudy perspex or pastic was put over the screen and removed. The tv is great if theres a lot of bright colours on screen, but when things get more subtle, it flickers and flashes around like crazy.
If thats the price you pay for sharp images on a crt tv, then bring back the old type tv!
