Author's Review
The CT20D6 is not listed so I decided to group the review in with this one. The CT20D6 is the current standard Panasonic 20" TV sold at major retailers like Best Buy & Circuit City.
I have always been semi-obsessed with TV picture quality & I have always thought JVC, Sony, & Panasonic(in no particular order) were the best. Panasonic is the least expensive so that is what I went with. At first I was thinking of 25" or 27" to complement a DVD player, but I decided to just go with a 20".
There are 20" TV's with s-video, but this doesn't have one. But in the long run, you don't want to hook up a DVD player on a 20". Spend the extra money and get a 32" or 36". It does have 2 av jacks(1 front & 1 back). It also has a headphone jack, which can come in good use.
This TV is for my bedroom so forget about a flat screen. They aren't worth double the price. If you are looking straight on at a standard and a flat screen, you cannot tell me there is a difference in picture quality.
Anyway, this tv has a comb filter and a panablack screen. I don't know what that means, but the picture quality is great. It is crisp corner to corner. The only thing is you have to play around with the controls a lot in the beginning to get the right settings.
Audio is only average. Other features are FM radio, which I was surprised to see, sleep timer, & alarm(with good features).
The only negative is the remote. It is not universal. It is small and the keys are even smaller. It would also be nice to a one button sleep key. But you can get over this.
