m125: a college student's dream come true

by   collegegrrl ,  Aug 16, 2002
Pros: universal connector-uses m5xx accessories; SD slot to add memory; compatible with m1xx cases and covers
Cons: can't upgrade to newer Palm OS; grayscale screen; replacement styli hard to find
The Bottom Line: This PDA is an excellent choice for students - if you lose or damage it, the loss won't be as great as if you'd invested in a much higher-priced model.
Review: When my Dad and I decided that he would buy me a computer as my high school graduation present, I convinced him that I would be saving him money by buying a desktop pc, and then a PDA to keep me "mobile" every day around my campus. I have used the...

Great Day-To-Day Organizer

by   mookiekong ,  Apr 25, 2002
Pros: Durable, SD/MMC expansion slot, Fast, Replaceable Batteries
Cons: Small Screen, No Flash Memory
The Bottom Line: If you need an organizer that works and can withstand heavy day-to-day use, look no farther. The m125 maybe a no-frills machine, but it definitely gets the job done.
Review: Well, a lot has changed since I wrote my review of the Sony PEG-S320 (http://www.epinions.com/content_43962437252) a few months ago. A few months ago I praised the PEG-S320, and I still do – it’s a great machine. But,...

Pros: The downloads are great. You can find all kinds of software for them.
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: I thank everyone should have a Palm m125 Handheld with 8 MB Memory. I can't see how I did anything without it.It is the best.
Review: Being a housewife and all ways have things to do,I need more then paper could give me.I need something that could go with me and keep me up to date on what I need to do for that day. With paper I always lost it and could never thank where I put my note...

M125 Lover

by   hiruu ,  Apr 1, 2002
Pros: Ease of use!
Cons: Entering the data
The Bottom Line: I love my Palm!
Review: I love my Palm Pilot! I received this puppy as a christmas gift and it is great. I use this for a very wide variety of things, and its uses seems to increase everyday. There is soooo much software out there at websites to greatly enhance your palm for...

Nice upgrade!

by   elmasian ,  Oct 4, 2001
Pros: Stylish, economical and great expansion capabilities.
Cons: No wireless capabilities built in.
The Bottom Line: Buy this handheld if you don't need or want wireless capabilities.
Review: The new Palm m125 is the next step in the "m" series of handhelds. This series includes the entry-level m100 and m105 as well as the upscale m500/505. As it’s name implies, this device is in the middle. There are two main features that differentiate...

Palms new mutt

by   thegreatveggie ,  Nov 5, 2001
Pros: SD Slot, Lots of memory, dual expansion, good speed and sturdy frame
Cons: price and small screen
The Bottom Line: I strongly suggest the palm m125 over the Visor NEO becuase of the less costly expandability options, free software and the more professional look as to the NEO's cheap design.
Review: I have recently owned a Visor Deluxe PDA. There were some minor problems with it. Its screen was always getting scratched and the frame got cracked everytime it was dropped. One day I dropped it and the screen cracked in half disabling the bottom half...

Palm m125 - Entry Level Palm With a Lot of Bang for the Buck

by   amykhar , lead in Computer Hardware at Epinions.com ,  Feb 5, 2002
Pros: expandable, light, small, inexpensive, flip cover, uses triple A batteries
Cons: horrible backlight, stylus is hard to find in local stores, Some accessories are not available
The Bottom Line: Compared to my iPaq, this is an ugly duckling, but I use it a lot more than I EVER used by spiffy cool iPaq.
Review: About 18 months ago, I bought my first PDA, and I did not skimp either. I bought the most powerful Compaq iPaq on the market at the time. It had a beautifully backlit color screen, played mp3s, and was a gadget-lover’s dream. The only problem was, I...

Palm m125 : A Middle of the Road PDA

by   jcare ,  Oct 9, 2001
Pros: Good price point, durable, reliable with latest features
Cons: No color, wireless, only 8MB.
The Bottom Line: Need a PDA, but don't want to splurge on color or wireless stuff. Look at the m125. the premium over the m100 is worth it.
Review:
The Palm m125 sits between the high end m500 and truly gorgeous color m505 and the low-end entry level m100. My personal opinion is that some product manager was chartered with coming up with a set of specs for a $250 Palm m-PDA and employed...

My first PDA!!!

by   ldlchien ,  Nov 8, 2002
Pros: SD slot, universal connector, Palm OS 4.0
Cons: Small screen, only 8 MB RAM, no flash ROM, placement of SD slot on side
The Bottom Line: Much better than the m105 for not much more money, but you might want to look at the m500 as well.
Review: ***4/14/03 UPDATE***
I am sending my m125 in for warranty repair/replacement. I have been having major digitizer problems over the past month or so. Tapping the screen will cause it to register somewhere else, or not respond at all. Graffiti...
