After owning my Palm 105 for two years, I cannot say enough about the marvelous features of this little wizard. I am a complete tech geek, and spend endless hours on my PC. When I'm not on my PC, I rely on my Palm to get me through the day.
The Palm comes with the must-have software, and enough memory to install other fun applications, that can be downloaded for free from the web. The Address Book, Memo Pad, and Date Book are efficient, easy to learn and even easier to use. This little piece of hardware has never let me down.
At first, it was kind of a bummer that the Palm Applications could only sync with the Palm Desktop Software--which is really great, by the way. I was an avid Outlook user, and found it difficult to try to enter information twice...until I found a program that syncs Palm information to Outlook, and all of my problems were solved!
Because of my tech-geek status, I have tried other PDA models, including a Pocket PC, and Sony Clie. While these had great features, such as color screens, and the ability to play MP3's, they had nothing on the Palm. The biggest drawback to the newer PDA models is the short-lived rechargable battery. Once it dies, all your information is lost. This problem is so great, that I would rather stick to my old-standby Palm, and just by batteries at the local corner store when I need them!
With all of its excellent applications, and many more available, I have never seen a moment of misery with my Palm 105. I highly recommend it, and would never let it go!
