Change to a Great Stylus: The Pilot Pentopia Chameleon

by   quasar , top reviewer in Computer Hardware at Epinions.com ,  Jan 29, 2003
Pros: very thin, very light, comfortable to hold, writes well, fits in stylus silo
Cons: Palm III model doesn't have a clear barrel
The Bottom Line: It more than meets my three requirements for a stylus - it's easy to hold, it's easy to transport, and it writes well. Color me happy.
Review: There are thousands of stylii on the market these days and no one stylus is going to be right for every person. The same stylus can be too light for one person and too heavy for another. One person may prefer a thick pen-like stylus, finding it easier to...

The Palm V connected organizer: Put your mind at ease

by   biglor ,  Jun 27, 2000
Pros: User friendly, sufficient storage capacity, interchangeable between device and computer
Cons: None
Review: I am the very satisfied owner of the Palm V connected organizer. I had long wanted a hand held organizer, one that would have both computer interchangeable abilities and one that would be able to perform different applications. Christmas day was...

Pocket Rocket!

by   RichBoston ,  Jun 22, 2000
Pros: Beautiful, Lightweight, Palm OS
Cons: Only 2MB of Memory, Rechargeable Battery Can Leave You Stranded
Review: I’ve reviewed many of the (mostly) new PDAs but I’ve received about a dozen emails from folks asking for my opinion of the Palm V. I respond that I wrote an Epinion on the Palm Vx which is essentially the same unit but with more memory. But still the...

Get a better life.

by   mtvsux ,  Jan 19, 2001
Pros: Sexy, tiny, good battery, makes life better, Palm OS is the BEST
Cons: 2mb, Discontinued.
The Bottom Line: If you look forward to progress in this life time, get a Palm V series. The sleekest, lightest, most functional PDA out there.
Review: How a Palm V will save the day:

Let's face it, if you don't have a pda you're living in the dark ages, you might as well be carrying tablets and chisels around - not very convenient.

The palm V has not only saved me tons...

A great way to finally get organized

by   love2sail ,  Jun 20, 2001
Pros: Sleek appearance, a wide variety of applications, simple to use, rechargeable
Cons: Insufficient amount of memory
The Bottom Line: The Palm V performs as well as it looks. There are a variety of pre-loaded applications, it is simple to use, it is durable and will make you more organized.
Review: Before I obtained my Palm V, I was one of those people that had a calendar for work, another personal calendar, two name and address books, two sets of memos and lose papers hanging every which way out of all of these things. The Palm V totally changed...

Choice PDA for millions

by   kornell_911 ,  Nov 20, 1999
Pros: Makes my life easier, light, compact
Cons: cost
Review: I purchased my PALM V at the beginning of the school year. I'm currently a college student, so I find it very important to get things organized.
I used to use a daily planner (yeah one of those paper things). But let me tell you, my organization...

But how does it look in a skirt?

by   briansdad ,  Jan 14, 2000
Pros: light weight , versatile, memory upgrade available
Cons: very costly, small memory
Review: A personal assistant that doesn't ask for a raise and more time off at the same time? NO WAY!!!!
I had never even considered a pda, much less thought I'd rely on one on a daily basis, but I received a palm V and the corresponding modem and...

The Fabulous V

by   Girlina ,  Nov 5, 1999
Pros: Stylin, tiny, very functional-a dream gadget
Cons: Low memory in first edition, pricey
Review: I've seen 'em all, and the Palm V is what has won a place in Gadgetgrrl's heart (and my handbag). Let's face it, right now nothing else beats the V's combination of size, functionality and style.

Almost everyone who touches a PalmPilot is won...

Palm V works for me and it looks GREAT!!!

by   ruri ,  Feb 25, 2000
Pros: Look great
Cons: No internet access on the road, only 2mb of memory
Review: I've had the Palm Professional for quite a long time until I gave it to my brother. Finally I felt the need to upgrade and I was stuck on whether I would get the Palm IIIx, Palm V or wait for the Palm VII. I compared the Palm IIIx and V in a store... no...

Size Really Does Matter

by   cfaulconer ,  Apr 27, 2000
Pros: Rechargeable, Small
Cons: Can't upgrade the memory
Review: If you are in the market for a PDA, the Palm V is the way to go. Here's why:

First of all, the Palm Operating System is the best PDA OS out there. I say this because it has everything you need and nothing else. It's stable, fast, and (very...
