The king of the pdas.

The palm VII is finally here! Some people might be saying "oh its just a palm computer" what they don't know is the palm VII is different than any other pda out there. That may sound like an over statement but let me explain why it is the new king of the pdas.

The palm VII can do what the other pdas do it can store memos and keep track of dates. What makes it stand out is the built in wireless connection to the internet. This means that where ever you are you can check sports scores or see how the stock market is doing. That sounds good but it gets better. Now you can send and recive aol email! This is a great way to send someone an important message involving business or just keeping in touch with your friends. It is a great wireless internet service but it does cost a lot to have access to internet


The palm VII will not just allow you to send infromation from far away but up close it places like a business meeting. It is equiped with an ir port(infrared) for beaming memos or business cards. You can do this with someone who has a pda that has an ir port. This is useful if you want to be able to give out you are companys business cards but don't want to carry a box cards around with you.

The palm VII comes with the palm os 3.2 operating system. It comes with some software such as address books and memo pads. You can buy or download more software off the internet. For internet it comes with tcp/ip software.

The screen is easy to see on the palm VII. It is a special anti-glare screen that makes it easy to see the screen in the sun light. It can be seen pretty good in dark areas too. The palm VII is no the lightest pda but it is not too bad. It is 5.25 by 3.25 inches and weighs 6.7 onces. It runs on two triple a batteries.

As with most pdas the palm VII down side is its price. At 500 dollars plus over 20 dollars a month if you use the wireless internet the palm VII can be very expensive. If it is worth it for you to pay all that money to get a great wireless internet where you can send and recive aol email then the palm VII is for you.
