Pros: Real Time Internet Info, Palm OS
Cons: Price, Not Practical For Large Page Downloads, Lacks Rechargeable Batteries
Review: The Palm VII is essentially the same as the Palm IIIe with one very important and expensive exception - the ability to view wireless web pages. I'll focus primarily on this wireless web feature as this is the main selling point of this unit.

Pros: Wireless, synch feature, ease of use, tons of software and web clippings.
Cons: Looks, batteries not rechargeable.
Review: I've always contemplated about just how useful these Palm Pilots are. Well, now that I have one, it's too good to be true. I use to think that scribbling on such a small device must be cumbersome and tough to learn. Why would anyone carry that thing...

Pros: Lightweight, powerful, batteries last long, easy to develop applications
Cons: none

Handheld computing as is a separate form of computing, with its own... |

Pros: Wireless!!! More memory and better screen than my Palm III.
Cons: Cost of wireless service.
The Bottom Line: Great deal at under $200. Wireless functions work very well. Would like to see the price of the unlimited wireless plan come down.
Review: I just upgraded from a Palm III to the new Palm VIIx. First, here's what's new (differences between the III and the VIIx):
- 20mhz dragonball EZ processor, up from 16mhz - four times the memory (8 megs) - higher contrast display... |

Pros: Wireless Internet!
Cons: not enough memory
Review: I used a Palm V for a few months last year before I lost the cradle somehow and stopped using it. The Palm V is great, but I found that storing my addresses etc. on the server (Yahoo!) is what makes much more sense to me than in a handheld tied to a...
