Tungsten T3 : Three Strikes and then a Home Run?! Maybe Not.

Date of Review:  Nov 1, 2003
The Bottom Line: If Palm works out some of the problems, this would be a great handheld. As it is, I find it hard to recommend before a few software patches.
Review: I know... I know... If I'm so happy with my Tungsten C, why did I buy the Tungsten T3? Well, the screen... the screen on the T3 was the deal sealer... no doubt about that. If you're remotely interested in PDAs, the screen will severely tempt you...

T3 - No Ahhnold but Still a Worthy Sequel

Date of Review:  Oct 19, 2003
The Bottom Line: The T3 has just about everything a business professional could possibly want in a PDA and resolves the shortcomings of the original T.
Review: I've owned a Palm Tungsten T since it's initial release last year and while I've loved it for the most part, I definitely couldn't resist the new T3 model since it covered the only major flaw that I had found with the original T: the meager 16MB RAM...

Tungsten T3

Date of Review:  Oct 18, 2004
The Bottom Line: Carry around the Power Supply, buy the keyboard, and get the additional 64mb. It will be a great School Companion.
Review: I love the Tungsten's retractable (320x480) color TFT screen deseign (with portrait and landscape options), it attracts many to buy the product. It runs on the Operating system of Palm OS? 5.2.1, with the new patches and updates that remove its...

Not Perfect But Good Enough

Date of Review:  Oct 28, 2003
The Bottom Line: Only buy it if you can comfortably afford it, like to show off a little and will use it for more than just a glorified date book.
Review: "Pick any one you want," my mum said. Relatives are always good to turn to when you need a nice birthday present and I needed a new Palm Pilot to replace the one I had fried courtesy of Russian Railway electrical supply (longish story, don't ask)...

Sony Vs Palm ... a tale of 2 PDAs

Date of Review:  Oct 21, 2003
The Bottom Line: A solid tool for the businessman. No fancy tools to distract but enough power to supply multimedia fun and productivity tools (Powerpoint etc).
Review: UPDATE on Jan 08
Went to the PalmOne Website and downloaded a bunch of updates. Installed most of them, including a ROM update. After that and a new sync, everything worked OK. I did encounter a couple of fatal errors initially with WebPro but...

Third time lucky?

Date of Review:  Jan 9, 2007
The Bottom Line: This one finally fulfills the promises of the Tungsten T and T2. If you liked them you will love this.
Review: You have seen my review of the Tungsten T, and the subsequent review of the Tungsten T2. Now the circle is complete. I finally bit the bullet and upgraded to the T3.

At the time of writing, the T3 is no longer sold by Palm, and has not...

Excellent Machine - Especially For Work!

Date of Review:  Feb 4, 2006
The Bottom Line: Although I chose Business Executives, it will work excellent for others too! This is nicely design & Very powerful! Worth spending the money for a solid machine.
Review: I went ahead & moved from a Zire 71 to a T3. I'm glad I did! It has a fast processor & a very good amount of RAM. But as been said before, the BIG seller to me was the screen size. I have used this considerably for Word documents... It has been very...

My T3 isn't my best friend

Date of Review:  Mar 20, 2007
The Bottom Line: Be clear on what you need it for, and if this seems to be a good match, go for it. It's a reliable little machine
Review: I had an old Palm Pilot way back when, and liked it a lot. Then it fell out of my pocket and died (I told everyone it had committed suicide). So I got an HP Pocket PC. Mistake! Way too many functions that I never used. Way too confusing. It did a...

New changes are great but not all.

Date of Review:  Jun 21, 2004
The Bottom Line: Great Buy.
Review: I purchased my T3 online for $324. This was an upgrade from my M515. Overall, I like my T3. The new Palm OS 5 has greatly improved by PDA necessities. There are some fallbacks as I will describe.

The Pros:
1. The higher resolution of...

Excellent PDA with usable extras

Date of Review:  Jul 24, 2004
The Bottom Line: Caters to all of my needs (entertainment, business, personal, gadget-lover); designed for ease of use
Review: So many of these PDA/pocket pc's have gizmos you'll never use on them but pay for. The beauty of the T3 is you'll use practically everything you pay for.

I purchased this in April, 2004 but waited to write the review until I'd had it for...
