Price is good but I would not recommend

Date of Review:  Dec 23, 2003
Review: Mine broke (System Sound) within a month. Palm warranty is not very good (They charge 39.99 for an exchange under warranty).

WATCH OUT FOR THE NEW CONTACTS (Address Book) FIELDS!

Date of Review:  Jan 2, 2004
The Bottom Line: The TungstenE is the best value of the current Palm lineup. 32MB memory, Documents to Go software, no unnecessary costly extras like cameras and keypads.
Review: I gave up my 6 year old Personal Palmpilot in favor of this beauty. I've found it has the best function for the price. Better than the ZIRE 71 if you give up the camera. Has 32MB of memory and comes with Documents to Go to process Excel and Word...

Palm Tungsten E - Hits The Ball Right Out Of The Ballpark!

Date of Review:  Feb 8, 2004
The Bottom Line: The Palm Tungsten E is simply the best for the price.
Review: The Palm Tungsten E is the low-end model of the Palm Tungsten series PDA's. However, this model clearly demonstrates quality, and not an "economy" quality. The Palm Tungsten E has the performance that you'd expect from an excellent Palm device. It's...

Dead Battery - Otherwise OK

Date of Review:  Jan 19, 2005
Review: Overall, I don't have any real issues with the operation of the E, it functions fine, and sync's ok without hassle. However, the ludicrously short warranty, and known problem with it's internal battery going dead make it a bad deal, even on the...

I use it for work. It is perfect!

Date of Review:  Jan 11, 2004
Review: You might require to buy a fairly large additional SD Card (I got a 256MB because I got to have a lot of stuff for work), but other than that you should be good to go if you're interested in having most of your emails, all your contacts, all your...

One year of life

Date of Review:  Feb 18, 2005
Review: The Tungsten E worked great for me for 12 months. As others mentioned, the battery isn't great, but I don't travel much so I could live with it.

Then the on/off button stopped working. Then it just DIED.

$150 for a year isn't...

BEWARE, LOST ALL INFO AFTER 2 MONTHS OF USE

Date of Review:  Mar 18, 2005
Review: I bought it in December, but by February it did not power-up, I though the connection to the electrical outlet was broken (I connected every night as I did with my cell phone). I double check the connection and sync it again with the info I had, but...

NOT FOR THE CORPORATE USER!!

Date of Review:  Mar 22, 2005
Review: When I had my corporate laptop replaced, I couldn't get my Tungsten E to synchronize with our corporate Outlook. Tried downloading the "latest" HotSynch software from the palmOne website, but learned that the downloadable version is NOT the same as...

Palm Pilot Tungsten E

Date of Review:  Mar 24, 2005
The Bottom Line: This is my first PDA and I'm extremely pleased with it.
Review: First off, I wish to point out that I'm by no means a technophile. However, when something works very well and is reliable (much like my 15 year old Honda Civic), I have to give credit where credit is due.
For all my needs the Tungsten E has...

Appearance is nine tenths of the law

Date of Review:  Apr 24, 2004
The Bottom Line: For high-power business users, get the Ipaq. For something to alert you when there's a birthday or anniversary coming up, get the Palm.
Review: I've been using Palm OS handhelds for about 5 years now. I had an original IIIe, then the Palm V, and my last one was the m505, which I loved. My main use for a Palm is mostly not for synchronization features, as I tend to use it for various text...
