|
Pros: Affordable, color display, a lot of available memory, MP3 player, DVD player available
Cons: The flimsy plastic cover, skinny stylus, no way to replace battery
The Bottom Line: Rated E for everyone!! It is easy to use, and can be expanded to fit many needs. This PDA is loved by my husband, myself, and our kids!
Review: When my husband and I decided to upgrade to color PDAs, we stopped here at Epinions FIRST. We picked out a few models that might be within our price range, and went to do hands on shopping. We ended up at Best Buy, where we were able to look at and ...

Pros: Everything...
Cons: None...
The Bottom Line: The Palm Tungsten E is simply the best for the price.
Review: The Palm Tungsten E is the low-end model of the Palm Tungsten series PDA's. However, this model clearly demonstrates quality, and not an "economy" quality. The Palm Tungsten E has the performance that you'd expect from an excellent Palm ...

Pros: Price, versatility, clear color screen, SD expansion slot, audio function.
Cons: No wireless or bluetooth. Limited battery life with audio use.
The Bottom Line: If you don't need wireless or bluetooth, this PDA can do everything you could possibly want. Why pay more?
Review: If I were a poet, I would write a sonnet about my Tungsten E. I can't live without it. I bought it 2 1/2 years ago because it was cheap, about $199 at the time, before the Tungsten E2 came out. The longer I have it, the more uses I find for it! I ...

|
Pros: Fast, 32MB memory, high resolution display, software (included & 3rd party), light
Cons: No recharging indicator, flimsy "protective" cover and no included case (and theyre not cheap!)
The Bottom Line: The cheapest of Palm's color-enabled line, this model is a solid handheld that offers everything one requires and none of the extra frills.
Review: In June 2001 I acquired my very first handheld: the Handspring Visor Edge (see my review of it at ht

and I realized that PDAs are indeed for me. As soon as it became affordable ...

Pros: Small, stable, excellent screen, large memory, well made, cheap.
Cons: Lack of expansion options. Useless cover.
The Bottom Line: While this doesn't have all the bells and whistles of more sophisticated machines, it performs most of the uses most PDA users want and it performs them superbly.
Review: I have been using a PDA since about 1998: first a Windows CE and then a Pocket PC machine. This is my first Palm. The Palm arrived in tacky looking blister pack packaging, with a minimal set of documentation, a standard USB cable, a wall charger with a ...

Pros: Durable, functional, great screen, reasonable battery life
Cons: No cradle, only a 90 day warranty, not amazingly powerful
The Bottom Line: Would recommend this palm to entry-level palm users, people who aren't going to require a lot of power from their palms. offers a good balance of features and price.
Review: The Palm Tungsten E is the first handheld computing device I've owned. I lusted after the higher priced options, but settled with the Tungsten E as a balance of price and features. I purchased the Tungsten E for two purposes. One was to keep track of ...
