Palm Treo 650 Smartphone

I bought this phone because I had lost my previous phone and coincidentally, at the same time, wanted to get a PDA. So I figured, "how about a Treo?" For the most part, this phone does what I need pretty much when I need to do it. Whatever raves people have for all of its smartphone features are definitely true. There are some extra annoyances with the phone when used with the Verizon network (aka crippled bluetooth).
For me though, I cannot get over how poor the phone reception is. Particularly because my previous phone was a dinky LG that I bought off of Craigslist for $20 and it worked flawlessly. I always had full bars and great reception. My Treo 650... not so much. I am constantly borrowing friends' phones and very rarely have full bars. I know that this isn't isolated to my phone either because I have seen this complaint many times and know several people who have traded in their Treos for this very reason.
While overall, I would say this phone is decent for its versatility, I am considering getting something else.
