Palm Treo 650 Smartphone

Don't buy a Palm Treo 650 - the volume is so low you can't hear the other person even in a vacuum and you must buy 3rd party software ($19.99) to boost the volume; the device keeps freezing and needs to constantly be reset and makes this annoying beep sound when a call doesn't connect or is dropped which is all the time, e-mail application (Versamail)is very inconsistant. I'm in the NY Metro area where you'd think there would be good coverage and I don't know if other service cos are as bad as cingular, but Cingular is a horrible service, the tech reps know nothing about the devices, and don't try to reach Palm support- they're with Osama. I had much better luck previously with Verizon, but they;re not international (can you imagine - no GSM in this day and age?)
