PDA: Public Display of Annoyances ** MORE UPDATES **

Date of Review:  Apr 3, 2005
The Bottom Line: Wait for the Treo 700 to come out, this device is way too buggy.
Review: In the early days, I bought my first Personal Digital Assistant called the Psion series 3. After a while, I upgraded to the Psion series 5, then on to the Palm Pilot - I was in geek heaven. A few years later, I upgraded to the Palm 3x and eventually...

PalmOne Treo 650 - The Smarter Treo?

Date of Review:  Dec 15, 2004
The Bottom Line: The PalmOne Treo 650 is a worthy successor of the PalmOne Treo 600. There are a couple shortcomings, but otherwise it's an excellent device.
Review: I'm planning on using Sprint PCS for a long while since I've been extremely satisfied with the service. Since life is getting more complex, I felt like I needed a new phone to fit the lifestyle. I have used the Handspring/PalmOne Treo 600 before but...

Treo is a great all-in-one smartphone device

Date of Review:  Aug 28, 2006
The Bottom Line: This is an overall great all-in-one device. Not perfect but once you get used to it, the Treo can be quite a life companion.
Review: After panting and wishing to get my hands on the Treo 650, I finally got hold of one this past March. My family went on a vacation during Spring Break to Tokyo and Hong Kong. I finally bought an unlocked GSM Treo 650 (they don't subsidy lock the...

Palm Treo 650: (Possibly) The Ultimate Cellphone; A Treo Look Four Years Later

Date of Review:  Apr 11, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you really want a smartphone that is a sort of "Swiss Army Knife" of cellphones, this is definitely the one you want!
Review: Almost four years ago I reviewed a cellphone called the Handspring Treo 300, and I called it The Ultimate (2002) Cellphone . This device was widely accepted by many as the standard against which to judge phones that integrated cellular telephones...

The Palm Treo 650- A Smartphone Worth Checking Out

Date of Review:  Apr 20, 2006
The Bottom Line: The Palm Treo 650 brings all of the advantages of a Smartphone together successfully in a package that is easy to use and reliable. Strongly Recommended!
Review: Recently I have been testing many of the new all in one wireless products. Mostly these have included devices that are a combination of wireless phone and PDA. For the most part, I have found these devices to be inefficient and uncomfortable. Many...

Treo 650: Two Steps Forward, One Step Back

Date of Review:  Jan 25, 2005
The Bottom Line: When you understand what the device is and does, you will know whether you want it or not. For me, it is invaluable.
Review: The Treo 650 is my third Treo. I previously have owned a Treo 300 and a Treo 600. I have also owned various PDAs, including the Tungsten C, Tungsten T and iPAQ 5455. For my needs and desires, the T650 is easily the best phone on the market.

If only my husband were as versatile as this baby!

Date of Review:  Dec 13, 2004
The Bottom Line: Not worth the upgrade if you're coming from a 600, but if you're hopping into the smartphone market fresh, I'd absolutely recommend it. My price included a 'new customer' rebate.
Review: UPDATED seven hours later: the original review was written in an insomniac haze at 5:00 a.m. (read: I was very tired and very bored).

Two full weeks with the 650 and I'm one hell-of-a happy woman. I've recently become convinced that I'm a...

A mixed box o' bolts

Date of Review:  Oct 20, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you need a reliable phone/email device above all else, look elsewhere. If you want something to play with, this might be the option for you.
Review: I'm relatively new to the Palm phenomenon... sorta. I was a Newton 110/120 owner, briefly used one of the original Palm handhelds, and used a Blackberry 7230 until I got the Treo. I've always felt keyboards were the right way to do text entry, so...
