A Marriage made in Heaven!

UPDATE: The Play/Record buttons are forever getting bumped which either plays the last memo OR records the ambient noise (sometimes stuff you didn't want recorded) until it runs out of time! This has become such a pain that I no longer use it. It also made the PALM just a little too "fat" to fit in some of my shirt pockets! THEREFORE... I can no longer recommend this "neat" gadget, for MY purposes, at least!

Ever try to "graffiti" a memo in your Palm as you're driving down the road... without doing bodily damage to you or your car? Next to my daily shower, my daily drive to work is my most productive time for great ideas to flash into my head. (Sorry for that "personal" note!)

I've carried a small memo recorder for years but seem to either have left it at home or at work whenever those really "big" flashes of inspiration pop into mind. No more! I've had my goVox exactly 2 days and wonder why it wasn't presented to me as an indispensable Palm Vx accessory when I made that purchase 4 months ago! It already holds a "great idea" that I won't forget to write down plus a reminder to pick up my son from school an hour early today!

About a month ago I saw an advertisement for this neat little accessory but didn't buy it. As I though about it the next few days, I couldn't remember where I saw it... and nobody locally knew what I was talking about when I asked them - not even those who had sold me my Palm Vx originally. Then I saw it in a magazine at work, pulled up the website and determined it was THE one, did my online order and had my very own goVox Digital Voice Recorder (a DVR for my PDA?) in a week or so.

I didn't like the flimsy leather-like flap cover that came with my Palm Vx so this all-in-one DVR and front cover for my PDA makes BOTH items look very classy. It works as advertised, has much more capacity than I'll ever need in message capacity and length of time (99 messages and/or 8 minutes), and was very easy to order from the goVox website. For me it's a "keeper" even if I did have to pay $7.50 shipping!
