Good Choice - Good Price

Date of Review:  Sep 14, 2000
Review: This is not a new Palm but still one of the best available. It is also a relative bargain nowadays if you shop for it. I did a simple internet search on one of the shopping sites and found prices ranging from $200 to $300.

While there are...

Palm IIIx: A Nostalgic Look at an old Friend (Milestones W/O)

Date of Review:  Apr 12, 2002
The Bottom Line: My first Palm oh so many year ago... this model is difficult to find unless you're buying it used.
Review: Although this model is difficult to find these days, I'm writing this as part of epinion member naphtalia's milestones write off. Perhaps it's appropriate that I'm writing this while on call in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and that the patients...

Palm's Down

Date of Review:  Mar 5, 2002
The Bottom Line: Today's busy worker will love the features, but danger may be lurking around the corner.
Review: A few years ago I had owned a Palm III. When I first bought it, I thought it was great. Here I had my Rolodex, and calendar at my fingertips where ever I went. That euphoria lasted all of two months as I smashed the glass display on two consecutive...

THE REAL DEAL

Date of Review:  Nov 23, 1999
Review: I bought the PalmIIIx specifically as an organizer but it has turned into much more than that. Of course, there are the basic functions that are installed on the Palm OS:Address book, Date Book, Notepad, Calc...etc.
But these are pretty...

Ditch the Post-Its, get a Palm

Date of Review:  Apr 9, 2000
Review: It used to be, that when you would mention organizers, Filofaxes and Day Runners would come to mind. Now that we are in the digital and high tech day and age, the "old" paper organizers are out and electronic organizers, known as person data...

Worth the extra memory!

Date of Review:  Dec 21, 1999
Review: My husband recently got a Palm IIIx for work. I liked it so much that I asked him to get my one too. I really love it... It keeps me very organized at work. I can keep track of all my appointments and it fits easily into my pocketbook, coat or pants...

IIIx once the leader, now outdated. Get the IIIxe

Date of Review:  May 7, 2000
Review: There was a time when the Palm IIIx was among the best PDAs out there. In the PDA world of smaller, faster, more memory, there are many better alternatives, unless cost for you is the key factor. Don't get me wrong, the IIIx is great. However, the...

Great little guy

Date of Review:  Mar 2, 2000
Review: This Palm is much like the rest of the Palm family but has the most memory available (that I know of). My Father bought one this last month and he was able to get it up and running in a matter of moments. This is from a guy who is very tech...

I can't live without it.

Date of Review:  May 25, 2000
Review: My company standardizes everything, and all of our PDA's are Palms. We've got about 150 people of varying technological skill levels using them on a regular basis, synching them daily with our MS Exchange. Miraculously, we rarely have to make a...

The SUV of Palms...not a BMW like the V, but a nice ride.

Date of Review:  Sep 11, 1999
Review: Read my review on the IIIe to learn why the IIIx is probably the better choice of the two models! For a minimal price difference you get twice the memory, a conduit to synch with Outlook, the promise of expanding the memory, and a small "x" after...
