Is the Treo 755 still relevant?

Date of Review:  Oct 31, 2007
The Bottom Line: With features practically the same as the Treo 755, why bother paying more for the 755?
Review: Treos used to be for Business Executives and Gadget Lovers. Blackberries and Windows Mobile 6 devices have covered both now. The Centro is now perfect for beginners and students due to the lower price point as well as a very simple interface cira...

Palm Centro Dominates the Desired Features Scale

Date of Review:  Dec 17, 2008
The Bottom Line: This is a powerful, yet unintimidating phone.  Even if you don't need all the power, you will find uses for it.
Review: I realize there are many reviews on the Palm Centro, so I’m going to try to get into some real specifics; the end result should be that if you read this review and combine it with nad_master’s review here, just about every question you might have...

My first Smartphone, quite pleased with it!

Date of Review:  Aug 20, 2008
The Bottom Line: As a first smartphone or a casual user, I highly recommend it.  If you are a power user, looking for the latest and greatest, you'll probably want more.
Review: Before i get started, I want to emphasize that this is the first smartphone I've ever owned. I've owned many regular "dumb" phones in the past, mostly Nokia, so I may miss addressing some crucial features/comparisons that smartphone power-users may...

The, just about everything you could ask for in a phone, phone

Date of Review:  Apr 16, 2009
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend the Centro for people who prefer functionality and uses over flash.
Review: I will warn you this is going to be an extremely long review.  But if you're like me you get tired of the "This is the greatest thing ever..." reviews or the "this is the worst thing ever..." reviews.  So I will just talk about the features I use...

A Verizon smartphone for the rest of us

Date of Review:  Feb 6, 2009
The Bottom Line: A good Verizon smartphone for a Palm afficionado
Review: For an executive summary, see only bolded items. At 8 months of under 30min daily use, the battery has worn and needs recharging daily, my prior Motorola phones would hold a charge for over 3 days.  Calls and reception are good but its weaker in low...

The Little Phone that Roared!

Date of Review:  Jan 29, 2009
The Bottom Line: The Palm Centro is a very good handset with top notch PDA/Phone integration, compact and a joy to use with one hand.
Review: Anybody that lives by their PDA cellphone, knows how much a well-designed phone can impact your life and everyday experiences. I have had several generations of Windows mobile phones generations after several generations of Palm OS phones on the...

Bulky But Reliable

Date of Review:  Sep 23, 2009
The Bottom Line: A little on the bulky side, this phone will last, and it's very reliable.
Review: Making the Decision:
The Palm Centro is a great cell phone for those that are looking for a gadget that does more than simply act as a phone or a way to text. In May 2008, I went to the Sprint store with a current account that I wanted to...

A Competent All In One PDA Phone

Date of Review:  Aug 3, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you currently are using a separate phone, PDA and MP3 player, the convergence of these three into the Cento may be worth checking out.
Review: What Is It?

What would happen if you took a Palm PDA, MP3 player, 1.3 megapixel camera, pocket calculator and a phone and combined them all into one small device? That is the premise behind the Palm Centro.

What's In the Box?...

Great so far........

Date of Review:  Dec 10, 2007
The Bottom Line: First time smart phone users. Lots of features and cheap!
Review: well, this is my first smart phone. I have had this for about 2 weeks now. My previous phone was the Samsung A920 which was a flip mp3 phone. I love that phone but it was getting old and it was time to upgrade. So, moving from a flip phone to a...
