Pac-Man Fever isn't the best party game...
Date of Review: Nov 26, 2002
The Bottom Line: The game tries to follow Mario Party but dosen't come close, the mini games are wierd... Get Mario party 4
Well I love Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man but I didn't like this game that mucha dn I will tell you exactly why. Well like to rent games so I rented Mario Party 4 and Pac-Man Fever at the same time. While Pac-Man Fever and Mario Party 4 are both party games it was easy to see which one was better. Pac-Man Fever tries its hardest to compare itself to Mario party but it fails. Mario Party moves along much faster than Pac-Man Fever, for example, while moving accross the game board it seems to take forever to get to your turn. Although I played these games (Mario Party 4 and Pac-Man Fever) by myself and not others, I think I have gotten to see which is better. Mario Party 4 and Pac-Man Fever are both set up basicly the same. You select a character, you move through a gameboard and you collect coins or tokens and play mini-games every 4 turns. Maybe the game would have been better if I had played with friends but I guess I'll never know. As far as I see it Pac-Man Fever is a waste of my $4.99 to rent the game. I thought a Pac-Man game couldn't be bad, I guess I was wrong... I'm just glad I didn't buy the game.
