He Loved Her, He Really Really Loved Her

The Bottom Line: This is a good - feel sad/feel good/feel sad/feel good movie. Hillary Swank and Kathy Bates carry it well.
Review: When this first came out, I didn't want to see this because I'd heard it misled you into thinking it was a feel-good movie, but instead was a tearjerker. So, I watched it against my initial better judgment and discovered that it was both.

The Bottom Line: Ehh, not terrible, not great. I'd rather see Gerard as the Phantom than watch him waste his charm in something no one's going to watch again.
Review: P.S. I Love You begins by introducing us to a young couple, Holly (Hilary Swank) and Gerry (Gerard Butler) Kennedy. Of course, all the happiness of the first scene is cut short as the next takes us to Gerry's funeral.
