So close, yet not quite perfection

Date of Review:  Dec 6, 2005
The Bottom Line: Demerits for the tiny keyboard, low ringer volume and minor flaws. Otherwise, it's an good device - 3.5 stars
Review: After dealing with constant dropped calls, incessant resets and multiple replacements, I got out of my contract with Cingular. The Treo 650 simply does NOT work with Cingular. I hear the Treo 650 with Verizon is just fine.

There are two...

The All in one Smart Phone

Date of Review:  Jan 29, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone who isn't afraid of a powerful device. I play with it daily even after months! I've never been so organized before!

Verizon XV6600 - The romance is over!!!!!!!

Date of Review:  Jul 28, 2005
The Bottom Line: I no longer recommend this phone. It has proven to be an unreliable beast that locks up every day. Get the Samsung i730 instead.
Review: Update as of November 15, 2005
THE ROMANCE IS DEFINITELY OVER!!!!

I owned the XV6600 for a few months and recently replaced it with a Samsung i730. It was an easy choice. Yes, I love the XV6600's gorgeous large screen. It looks way...

perfect marriage of ppc & phone

Date of Review:  Aug 1, 2005
The Bottom Line: this phone may be the last phone or device you will need for a long time. it is so good that you might want to fire your secretary
Review: yes, the title says it all. Audiovox was the first company to come out with a ppc/cell phone hybrid (the thera, a large, bulky device that needed an earbud attachment to use the phone).

The 6600 is the ultimate PPC device. First it uses...

Read First Audiovox PPC-6600 Facts

Date of Review:  Jun 20, 2005
The Bottom Line: Absolutely love the device. Fully configurable. Can you find a PDA/Cell with all this? This is perfect for Gadget lovers yes but doubles as a Business Pro's Best Friend
Review: Before I purchased this device, I visited virtually every review page out there on the product. Now I have purchased it , and to tell you the truth, I Love It. I read the poor reviews that people have given it, and am happy to say most of these...

A Very Decent Device But not Perfect

Date of Review:  Nov 22, 2005
The Bottom Line: Not a bad choice if you're willing to make the effort
Review: I'm a consultant, and one client has provided me with a Blackberry for several years, but since that company was recently sold, I won't have my free Blackberry (or that job) anymore. My cell phone contract with awful T-Mobile was up, so I sought...

Great Organizer...Lousy Phone

Date of Review:  Jun 19, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you need a phone, buy a phone! If you need an PDA?buy a PDA?Don?t buy this device hoping to do both.
Review: I purchased my phone in May 2005 with high hopes. After getting sick of not having constant access to my e-mail, being restricted to specific web sites with my regular phone browser, and forgetting appointments over and over I went looking for a...

Great integrated unit!

Date of Review:  Apr 4, 2005
The Bottom Line: Buy a 512MB or 1GB SD Card and a Bluetooth headset and you will absolutely love this device!
Review: I tried the AudioVox PPC6601 when it was release late 2004 and loved the functionality but decided to wait on the PPC6600 unit because I also wanted the camera features.

This unit does it all except 802.11. It runs Windows Mobile 2003...

Though Free, I still Hate it

Date of Review:  Dec 16, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you can avoid it, do. I wish I could give zero stars.
Review: I received this PDA/barely a phone from my company to replace my Nextel Phone. I was skeptical about being forced back to Sprint but I was initially very excited to have PDA capability and a cell phone in one unit. As many have pointed out, this is...

Review: I Purchased the Sprint Version (PPC_6600) and just love it. I do all my scheduling, and carry all the bids and stuff that I need. Bluetooth is awesome. Sync's just like my old HP PDA, just stick it on the base and she's good to go. I have even...
