The Bottom Line: Please do not buy this printer. Save your money and go with a more reputable company you can trust. High toner and poor customer care make this a no go!

Good printer, but it's toner is a scam.

The Bottom Line: I got it for $99 and was initially very happy. But the annoying software, the toner price scam, and the booby trapped printer make it a bad deal.

Great Cheap Printer, but you need to work around some things.

The Bottom Line: Great choice if you want high quality prints at a low price. Be prepared to compromise or spend some money if you want to network it though.

Great, Cheap Laser

The Bottom Line: I recommend this to anyone for needs of cheap, fast text. If you are planning on printing a lot of graphics, then this is not a good choice.

Unbelievably High Toner Cost Factors

The Bottom Line: Save your money, research simple replacement/refill costs that drive the actual costs to ridiculous levels. Just as the old inkjets did with high ink costs.
Review: I bought this printer as an "upgrade" to my trusty old Panasonic KXP6500 which had some problems with XP drivers and real fine printing.
With it's 1200 DPI output, I thought this would be a perfect complement for small text/fine image printing...

Good Output...But Not For SOHO Users

The Bottom Line: Recommended for single desktop PCs. Not recommended for home networks or small businesses where third party print servers will be deployed.
Review: I just purchased this printer as a replacement for a damaged HP Laserjet 1012. I needed a quick replacement and the price was right with an internet special from Office Max for $100.

The Bottom Line: Forget it. Far too inefficient and noisy. Try another small laser (Brother or Samsung maybe?), or go for $50-$100 more and move up to the excellent Brother HL-5140.
Review: I'm not so keen on the 'cutting edge' design of this printer. True, the paper loading tray does fold up for compactness, but who would ever consistently use a printer where you have to unfold the tray and reinsert the paper each time you want to...
