Babybjörn Original Baby Carrier

Aside from the basic necessities that every new parent needs (car seat, diapers, wipes) a Baby Bjorn is on my "must have" list. The ingenious design is a newborn parent's dream come true because it allows baby to be snuggled close while leaving mom or dad with FREE HANDS! When the baby is younger - or sometimes even older napping babies - they face inward, snuggled up comfortably. As they grow older, are more social, and can hold their head up on their own, baby can be turned around to face outward, a great way to experience the world! While there is always a time and a place for a stroller, interacting with others from the safety of the Baby Bjorn is great for baby developmentally and the close contact with the adult wearing the carrier is nurturing. The remarkable design allows it to be comfortably worn by people of all heights and one of my favorite features is the ability to unhook the front panel and lay a sleeping baby down gently without having to wriggle them out of a complicated set of straps and loops as with some carriers. Baby Bjorn also has an amazing safety record, so be sure to fill out the registration card. Should a recall ever occur, they are quick to communicate and resolve any issues! Oh, and they wash up like a dream!
