Frontier fun!

We have the original version of The Oregon Trail and even this one is excellent.I have also heard from my children that they have played the other versions and they are wonderful as well. They commented the other versions have better graphics.

This game is easy to play, and fun to play again and again. I even enjoy playing this game. This is one of my sons favorite games, which is great because he has learned map skills, which they use in school. I like how you have to make decisions about what to be and what to bring on your trail to Oregon. If you make the wrong decision you and your party can get sick and can sometimes not even make it to Oregon. Many times we have played and not made it to the Willamette Valley in Oregon, which makes the times we actually make it really cool. I believe this game builds critical thinking in children, heck even in adults like me!

This game makes learning history fun, I wish i had this when i was a child. I would recommend this game to all families.
