Not worth the trouble and customer care was unprofessional

I was really excited to receive this as a gift. It was hard to set up, though. I had to disconnect the batteries to get it to setup.

I was home with my family when the first alarm came through - a thunderstorm warning. It was loud - at maximum volume - enough to wake the baby and startle everyone else in the house. And even though I had only my county set, the alarm when from warning through two other warnings until finally a watch - waking the baby each time. We finally shut it off.

You cannot adjust the volume of this alarm - either the sound or the voice afterwards. Forget it if you are in an apartment or condo or a campground - you will annoy so many people you will turn it off, and then miss the tornado warning.

I tried to call the support line. They basically said "Who cares?" The second time I called they started laughing at me.

Not worth it!
