Good little vac for everyday quick kitchen cleanup
Pros:
No cords, adjustable handle length, good power/suction, easy enough for kids to use.
Cons:
If not charged regularly, or if battery is fully drained, battery will die prematurely.
The Bottom Line:
It's great for those small pick-ups. And, it's really great on hard floors.

Author's Review
My wife and I got this vac as a freebie included with our Oreck home air filters. I've generally been skeptical of the power of these little hand vac's, but this one really works. The two motor design was pretty clever, as it extends a handvac into a long-handle sweeper complete with a rotating brush at the floor level. Granted, six volts isn't much, but we really like the vac's ability to pick up around the kitchen (messes from our 3 little kids). Whether it's dust, crumbs, cereal, etc.-- it does a very nice job. It also is able to run on the shag throw rugs and surface clean (and provide a bit of a refreshed look to them) and not stall out. The unit did lose power after a few years of use. I was intrigued by the reviews I read here that the unit was throw-away. I opened the unit up and explored. The battery is replaceable. It's very simple to do, but does require some basic soldering. The battery replacements to the original Panasonic LC-R064R2P lead-acid battery include the Universal UB-645, Powersonic PS-640, CSB GP-645 and more. A battery replacement costs roughly $16 total, including the shipping.
