High Quality, Low Price

Our ancient DVD player was in need of replacement, so after doing much research, I discovered an obscure company with the unlikely name of Oppo.  It turns out that Oppo had been provided the guts to other high-end companies but finally put out their own models.  Their models have been consistently getting rave reviews from the audiophile rags and electronic reviewers.  All I can say is I'm glad Oppo put out their own DVD players and set such a low price point because feature for feature, this is a great buy at a very low price.  You'd have to pay a couple hundred more to get better. 

 
While I'm talking about costs, forget about absurdly priced Blue Ray discs....keep your old DVDs and get new and greatly enhanced viewing life from your library with this upconverting DVD player.  I've been enjoying my OPPO for about 10 months, and have never regretted my purchase. 

Who should buy this DVD player?
Those of you with HDMI connections on their HD 1080p TVs. 

Folks,  this is a no-brainer.  Read the reviews, then buy it, and then sit back and enjoy your HD TV and your existing DVDs....
