Best Performance vs. Price 7.1 AVR

The Bottom Line: You could spend more, especially if you want 7.1 Analog INputs!  Otherwise, the Onkyo TX-SR606 is by far the BEST Performance vs. Price 7.1 AVR right now!!!

Very nice 2 zone 7.1 receiver

The Bottom Line: Great receiver for basic multi-room and/or 7.1 audio, but not for the videophile needing digital upconversion!
Review: This receiver does a nice job of handling all my A/V inputs and outputs with lots of complicated wiring schemes.  The huge number of connections allows for lots of flexibility and options.

I was surprised to see an on-screen menu pop up...

A Non-functional Receiver

The Bottom Line: Due to the non-functional Component IN's and poor sound quality, I could not recommend this product.
Review: The TX-SR606 is chock full of features. Up-scaling video to 1080i, up-converting output to HDMI. We bought it for the HDMI switching and to eliminate over half of the cables hanging from our Sony LCD, which it did fantastically. If only it would...
