Ong-Bak The Thai Warrior Rules!!!!

Kickboxing and beliefs collide when the head of Ong-Bak a budda Deity are stolen and held for ransom by a power hungry gangster.

This is my second favorite Martial arts movie of the year next to Kung Fu Hustle.

Tony Jaa the main character who has few lines but many moves and a quiet presence on screen. But once you seen the first few action scene you can't help but pick your jaw up from off the floor! The moves and stunts Tony Jaa can do are like Jackie Chan on Crack. Tony Jaa can hop over moving cars, cartwheel flip thought 2 plates of glass only inches apart, or slide under a Semi-Truck all without stoping to admire his awesome work. There are my more stunts but I have not the space to list all of them!

The Story is very original at the start but kinda loses it luster towards to end. Not the Worst script for Martial arts movies but by no means the best.

The Fliming and Angles are unbelieveable when you see Tony Jaa do a unbelieveable move your a rewarded with a slow-motion double take from a different angle of the same move.
Its the first time i seen that done before and it was awesome.

So if you like new-age camera work with old school Butt-kicking Ong-Bok The Thai Warrior won't dissapoint.
