I purchased this little camera for myself Christmas, 2006. The two selling points for me were price and versatility. By versatility I mean, takes many different types of batteries, takes popular memory cards, has many selections for the type of picture you are taking, onscreen menus with explanations and many ways to upload or print pictures (you don't need a computer).
I have never been disappointed with this camera. It is easy to use. It's compact, can carry in pocket or purse. The LCD is large enough to see, viewfinder not needed.
Instructions are easy to follow. For instance, if a picture you have just taken is too dark or too light or you have red eye, you can correct it on the camera before printing or uploading. It's quite easy to do, I have done it several times.
The best thing I ever did with this camera is fix my kitchen faucet. I had know idea what all the stuff in there was called, and the faucet was a generic brand. I took pictures from start to finish as I disassembled then took the camera with me to the store. Showed the pictures on screen to the sales person and got the right parts. It saved me so much trouble.
