Olympus C-720 Scores a Knockout!

The Bottom Line: The C-720 is durable digital camera that eats lightning and craps thunder, taking high-quality photos under wide variety of conditions. Plenty of camera for the cash, too.

He wasn't kidding. And when it comes to capturing your sports memories with a digital camera, shutter speed has definitely got to be at the top of the priority list...

Waiting for something better

The Bottom Line: The 8x optical zoom sets this one apart from the others-definite plus. I recommend this for still pictures, not something/someone that moves even a little.

Nice, but...

The Bottom Line: If this camera had image stabilization, it would be wonderful. I could live without the autofocus, and movie sound. Come on, Olympus, at least throw in an a/c adapter!
Review: This was my first venture into digital cameras. I had used a few others before, but never bought one of my own.

The primary reason for getting the C720 was its great zoom. I love being able to take candid shots and having a nice zoom helps...
