Olympus Digital WS300M

I play in a Folk Group and needed something to record/learn Tunes. I tried a Sony Cassette Recorder - but recording time too short. Then A Sharp Mini Disc Recorder - good but no way to 'burn result' to CD.
Next a Zen Mp3/Radio Recorder - too small window, and poor control functions, but otherwise Ok.

Eventually I purchased the Olympus Digital Recorder, which does all I require. The recording time is very good, even at Stereo quality. Battery life (AAA) is good, and the controls are intuitive. The Instruction Booklet is well written.

I record everything, and then delete all extraneous sound that I don't want using MAGIX.

The big advantage is that it is small, but the screen can be read, and by detaching the bottom half, you access a USB connection, so avoiding any cables etc.for downloading.

I am not looking for real HI Fi, but am still happy with the quality of the recording - Does what it says on the tin!!!
